Use the <link href="text/swriter/01/05030200.xhp"><menuitem>Text Flow</menuitem></link> dialog to access hyphenation settings for a document or style or the <link href="text/shared/01/hyphenation.xhp"><menuitem>Hyphenation</menuitem></link> dialog to hyphenate words individually.

Plain text enclosed in quotes evaluates to <emph>0</emph>, but if you enter a mixed string like <emph>"123a456"</emph>, the conversion stops at the first non-numeric character—resulting in the number <emph>123</emph>.
