<emph>Paragraph Composer</emph> balances word spacing across consecutive lines, addressing the fundamental limitations of the single-line composer used in word processors. It can remove excessive word spacing by shifting words from previous lines, but only if the new line breaks do not result in larger spacing than before. The paragraph composer can produce more readable text when the appropriate settings (limit, line width, microtypography and hyphenation) are applied.
