[AppImage](https://appimage.org/) is a portable application format for Linux that allows users to run applications on rolling (e.g. Arch, openSUSE Tumbleweed) and stable (e.g. Ubuntu LTS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux) Linux distributions very easily, without the need for installation or worry of dependencies. AppImages bundle all the files needed for an application to run (e.g. libraries, translations, icons, fonts) that may not already be present on a user's system.
