@Mihkel @tjhietala I filed #144175 to remove the strings from translation, it makes no sense to translate them are they are only visible in html code after printing when the information are available in the properties of the document. Thank you both for your feedback :)

@Mihkel @tjhietala I've asked on the design channel and Heiko answered there is no UI strings, just raw html export. I agree that it could be made more explicit for us

@sophie, I've seen that, that's not the point, and neither does that get me closer to finding where it's actually visible in the UI :) My comment was to point out that many existing translations are wrong, because this string provides no easily accessible context, such as a msgctx comment, or better yet, a placeholder for the date.

@tjhietala, I think it has to be "common" as in "frequent, occurring often" – the other meaning would make little sense in this context: if a term is common (as in "shared") between Traditional and Simplified script, then what is there to convert? Actual Chinese speakers, please correct me if I'm wrong :) Anyway, thanks for raising this – if my reasoning is correct, then it means the current translation in my language has been wrong for gods-know-how-many years.

Okay, I'll have to take that back, it is actually "Sheet Tab Color" in the normal menu. It's "Tab Color" in the dialog title and some other string, I guess the Notebookbar, though.

The menu item is actually "Tab Color", not "Sheet Tab Color".

@Mihkel if you look at the link provided on the right under Source string location https://git.libreoffice.org/core/+/master/sc/inc/globstr.hrc#347, you'll see #define STRDOCPRINTED NC("STRDOCPRINTED", "Printed") #define STRBY NC("STRBY", "by") #define STRON NC("STR_ON", "on") so it's related by whom and when the document is printed
